AI Conversational Assistant Feature

The AI Conversational Assistant helps church teams respond to messages and faith questions quickly and personally. From the dashboard or mobile app, teams can utilize AI-assisted responses tailored to their church’s voice, with four response styles: Our Voice, Empathetic, Informative, or Scriptural. Giving you a powerful too to craft meaningful responses, efficiently.

Key Features

1. Default Church Voice

  • By default, responses are generated in the voice of your assigned organization (e.g., Dreamers Church).
  • Drafts are personalized with your website and YouTube content to match the tone visitors expect.

2. Tone Overrides

  • Choose from preset tone options to adjust how your response is framed:
    • Empathetic: Focuses on connection and care, making sure the visitor feels heard and supported.
    • Scriptural: Often longer, may include scripture references or faith-based encouragement that speaks into the visitor’s situation.
    • Informative: Provides clear, practical guidance or direction to help answer the visitor’s questions or point them to the right resources.
  • Each draft can be regenerated for different variations. AI is non-deterministic, so each attempt may produce unique results.

3. Editable Drafts

  • Responses open in a modal editor, where you can:
    • Tweak language to better fit your message.
    • Add or change scripture references.
    • Use the editor as a larger workspace, even if you don’t insert the AI draft directly.
  • Your edits are preserved when inserting into the reply.

4. Review Before Sending

  • AI responses are drafts only.
  • Always review or edit before sending to ensure the reply feels authentic and accurate.

Using AI Responses on Web

  1. Open any visitor conversation in the VisitorReach dashboard.
  2. Click Reply with AI to generate a draft.
  3. By default, the draft uses your church’s voice.
  4. Optionally switch tones (e.g., empathetic, scriptural, or informative).
  5. Regenerate for alternate variations if needed.
  6. Edit the draft directly, then insert it into your reply.

Using AI Responses on Mobile

  1. Open a visitor conversation in the mobile app.
  2. Tap the AI response prompt at the bottom of the screen.
  3. The default draft uses your church’s content and tone.
  4. Switch between tones (e.g., empathetic, scriptural, or informative).
  5. Regenerate to see alternative drafts.
  6. Edit and send once you’re satisfied.

Example Scriptural Drafts

  • “We’re praying that God will provide a way for you to find a new place to call home.”
  • “Matthew 6:33 reminds us that He promises to provide for your needs when you seek Him first.”
  • “May God grant you peace and provision as you search for a new apartment, and may His timing be perfect.”

Best Practices

  • Use AI drafts as a starting point, not a final answer.
  • Personalize and edit to reflect your authentic voice.
  • Experiment with regeneration for inspiration and variety.
