Marketing FAQ

What’s the difference between VisitorReach and us running our own marketing?

Working with VisitorReach comes with a number of unique benefits:

  • We are experts in the church marketing space — allowing your ad spend to be as efficient as possible.
  • We optimize spend over a variety of platforms, helping meet people where they are — what we call an omnichannel approach.
  • We help you engage leads with text and email campaigns through the VisitorReach app — driving real conversations and connections.

How do you measure success?

We measure success by the number of new contacts generated from our omnichannel marketing and the number of those new contacts that engage with your team via the VisitorReach app. Our hope is that your church’s team will pastorally care for these people in order to meet them right where they are, connect individually, invite them to church, and get them plugged into the community as a contributing member.

So, are we going to see a lot of new followers on social media?

Probably not. Our focus is to increase the number of engaged members of your church, not increase the amount of engagement you see on social media.

How can we manage Facebook comments?

  • Go to business.facebook.com
  • On the left side click "Inbox"
  • Then, on the top, click "Facebook Comments"

We already have a marketing agency, will that conflict with VisitorReach?

A partnership with VisitorReach does not require the exclusion of other marketing agencies — both can be used in tandem. Generally, marketing agencies conduct brand awareness campaigns, whereas we specifically focus on lead generation efforts. Additionally, your agency may perform other tasks that VisitorReach does not, like website management, social media management, brand management, and more.

Will you post the advertisements or will our marketing agency?

VisitorReach will create and manage all of our own ads and campaigns.

Will we review the ads before they go live?

Before we go live with ads, we will submit them to your team for review and approval.

Will we see ads that you are running on our social feed?

You may or may not see ads for your church as you are already part of the church and the algorithms will work to advertise to people who are not yet involved. Sometimes, people who are part of the church will still naturally receive these ads, but the goal is to reach people who are not yet part of the church.

How can we capture people who are coming to an event such as Easter, Fall Festival, or Christmas?

You can have a QR code generated which will route people into a specific Group in order for them to receive custom Journeys for that event.
