How to Use Notes on a Person’s Profile

The Notes section gives you and your team a simple place to save important information about a person directly within their profile. Notes can help your team remember meaningful details, stay aligned, and provide more personal and intentional follow-up.

What Can Notes Be Used For?

Notes can be used for anything that may be helpful for you or your internal team to remember about a person. For example, you might add a note about:

  • Pastoral care or important details shared during a conversation
  • An upcoming visit they are planning to make
  • A prayer request you want to remember or follow up on
  • A significant life situation or update they have shared
  • Important context that may help another team member continue the conversation
  • A reminder for future follow-up or connection

The possibilities are flexible. The goal is to provide your team a convenient place to keep helpful context connected to the person so it can be referenced when needed.

How to Access Notes from People

  1. Navigate to People in your App or Dashboard.
  2. Select the person whose profile you would like to view.
  3. Click Personal Info.
  4. See Notes.
  5. From here, you can view notes associated with that person or add information you would like to remember.

Accessing Notes from Conversations

You can also quickly access a person's notes while viewing a conversation.

  1. Open Conversations and click on the person’s profile to view their information.
  2. Navigate to Notes within their profile.
  3. View or add notes without leaving the conversation or searching for the person under People.

Stay Connected and Informed

Notes make it easier for your team to remember the details that matter. Whether you're following up on a prayer request, preparing for someone's first visit, or sharing helpful context with another team member, Notes can help your team provide thoughtful and consistent care throughout each person's journey.

Tip: Because notes can be viewed by internal team members with access to the person's profile, keep notes relevant, respectful, and helpful for your team's follow-up and care.
