Managing Social Media Ad Comments

1. Access Meta Business Suite

  • Go to business.facebook.com.
  • In the upper-left corner, click the dropdown arrow to ensure your organization’s page (such as your church's page) is selected.

2. Navigate to the Inbox

  • On the left-hand sidebar click Inbox.
  • This will open up a panel displaying all messages and interactions linked to your Facebook and Instagram accounts.

3. View Comments

  • Within the Inbox, scroll down to the Comments section.
  • Here you’ll see separate tabs for Facebook and Instagram.
  • Click on Facebook (or Instagram depending on the ad) to view all comments associated with your posts. 

4. Moderate Comments

  • Review comments one by one.
  • Ensure responses are appropriate and on-brand.
  • For any comments that are inappropriate or irrelevant, you have two options:
    • Hide: The comment remains visible to the commenter but not to the public.
    • Delete: Permanently removes the comment from the post.

  • Regular Monitoring: Make it a habit to check your inbox and comment sections frequently.
  • Timely Responses: Respond promptly to questions or concerns to maintain engagement and trust.
  • Maintain Clean Threads: Removing spam or inappropriate comments ensures the ad’s comment section remains useful and aligned with your values.
