# Managing VisitorTap in Your Dashboard
## You can manage your VisitorTap products directly from your dashboard. Each Tap product includes a unique Tap ID, identified by the last four digits printed in small numbers on the bottom of the card or sticker.
### **Setting Up VisitorTap**
1. Navigate to the VisitorTap tab on your dashboard.
2. Assign a Name to each VisitorTap card or sticker to easily identify its location and purpose.
3. Select the option to assign the product to.
### **Linking Options**
You have multiple options when assigning a destination to your tap cards:
1. **Category:** The Categories feature in VisitorTap allows you to easily organize and manage your Tap products, especially when managing multiple decks.
2. **Single URL:** You can direct each tap to one specific URL. When a person taps their phone to the card or sticker, this URL will automatically open on their device. All URLs must include https:// – not just http:// (for example: https://visitorreach.com).
3. **Taptree:** A Taptree allows you to connect multiple links under a single tap. This can include resources such as:
4. **Tap Pro Builder:** A customizable page-building tool that lets you create, design, and organize engaging digital experiences for visitors with dynamic content sections and a personalized look and feel.
5. **SMS Number:** (This selection is rare) SMS number allows you to utilize any phone number with texting capabilities — including third-party texting services — directly to your VisitorTap dashboard. Please note that while VisitorReach provides the texting integration, we can not offer technical support for third-party platforms.
### **Assigning Products to a Category**
To add a Tap product to the desired category:
1. Select the product.
2. Choose Assign to Category.
3. Confirm the assignment to the desired category.
4. The product will now appear under the desired category.
### **Using the Categories View**
You can switch to the Categories view to see all Tap products organized by category.
If a product is not assigned to any category:
1. Select the Tap product and assign it to a category, or
2. Drag and drop the product into the desired category folder.

### **Searching for Tap Products**
You can search for products using either the product name or the Tap ID. The dashboard will display all matching products based on your search terms.
### **Real-Time Editing**
Any link connected to a Tap product can be edited at any time by you or any team member with access. Changes are applied instantly.
