Search Conversations by Keywords
The ability to search directly in Conversations allows you to quickly find content using keywords or phrases found within messages. In addition to searching by a person's name, email address, or phone number, you can now search the actual content of your conversations.
Keywords are especially helpful when you remember what was discussed, but may not remember who the conversation was with.
How to Search Messages
- Navigate to Conversations in your Dashboard.
- Select Messages from the search options.

- Enter the word or phrase you would like to search for. (Your search must contain at least 3 characters.)
- Review the conversations that contain messages matching your search.
- Click a result to open the conversation.
Note: When you open a search result, the conversation will open to the latest message in that conversation rather than automatically jumping to the specific message containing your searched keyword.
Example
If you remember having a conversation with someone about an Easter service, you can search a keyword such as “Easter” under Messages to find conversations where that word was used.
When to Use Message Search
Searching by message content makes it easier to locate previous conversations when you don't remember the person's name or contact information. Simply search for a word or phrase you remember from the conversation to quickly narrow down your results.
