# Using VisitorTap to Engage Your Church
VisitorTap helps guests feel welcome, members stay connected, and people take their next steps in faith.
### **Drop Guest Card information into a Personalized Sunday Guest Journey**
VisitorTap is an extension of the VisitorReach experience. When someone fills out a digital guest card through VisitorTap, their information can be instantly connected to an assimilation or guest follow-up journey within the VisitorReach app.
- **Send an immediate text** thanking them for visiting and inviting them to connect with a leader in the lobby after service.
- **Set up a Guest Follow-up Journey** to send personalized text messages later in the week, checking in, answering questions, and encouraging them to return.
- **Continue engagement** in the following weeks by inviting them to events, sharing sermon links, or guiding them toward their next step in faith.
### Here are several other ways VisitorTap can be used to enhance engagement in your church:
VisitorTap cards create an easy, seamless way to stay connected—whether it’s an invitation to submit a prayer request, sign up for an event, or join again for next week's service.
1. **Guest Connection Cards**: Make it easy for visitors to check in, share their contact information, and automatically be added to the VisitorReach app for seamless follow-up.
2. **Event Sign-Ups**: Encourage participation in small groups, Bible studies, marriage groups, and other church events with an instant registration process. With a simple tap, attendees can sign up and be automatically added to the appropriate journey in the VisitorReach app.
3. **Giving**: Make tithing and donations easier than ever by directing members to your secure online giving platform with just a tap.
4. **Sermon Notes**: Give people instant access to message notes, allowing them to follow along during the service.
5. **Prayer Requests**: Attendees can submit their prayer needs digitally, allowing them to reach the right ministry leaders or prayer teams for follow-up.
6. **Salvation & Spiritual Decisions:** Encourage attendees to tap the card to share their decision, whether it’s salvation, rededication, or a desire to be baptized.
