VisitorReach Tools FAQ
What’s a Seeker? A Journey? A NurturePoint?
A Seeker is someone in your community that is spiritually curious and looking for a church to call home. A Journey is what we call the sequence of pre-built communications that a seeker receives once they submit a form requesting more information. These Journeys are sent over email and text. A NurturePoint is each individual message sent as a part of a larger Journey (all editable to fit your church's culture and language).
So, AI is responding to these Seekers?
No. When a Seeker submits a form to get more information, either from an ad or from your website, they receive a series of messages (through NurturePoint Journeys). When they respond to one of those messages, you are notified via the app and you should respond to them in a 1 on 1 conversation. During that conversation, you may choose to utilize our in-app resources, such as Quick Replies and AI responses, to help craft your response, but at no time is AI managing the conversation. This is an intentional choice in order to increase authenticity and seeker engagement.
Can we change the messaging in the Journeys?
Yes. We will build the first draft and then will need your help modifying them to best fit your church's culture and values.
